We (Jessica and Greg) have been working side by side for more than five years now. Our complimentary skills and personalities bring a cohesive nature to the projects we work on. Jessica's years of design experience in the print world and knack for creating unique brand identities and logos compliments Greg's technical proficiency in the online space, having produced everything from websites to banner-ads and Flash games.
We believe that good relationships make for great projects and this concept starts in the studio but rapidly carries over to the projects we take on and the way we work with our clients.
You can expect honest communication, unbiased advice (even for services we don't offer) and two passionate entrepreneurs who can often relate to the challenges your business faces – in this economy or any.
Jessica Bernert always knew she was going to be an artist. Yet she had no idea what ‘Graphic Design' was back in the 80's. She discovered it, in a computer graphics class at her small town high school and soon plans to pursue a career in architecture faded as a new search for art schools to study Graphic Design began.
She studied at Northwest College of Art in Seattle and Portland State University. Even while attending college as a single mother, Jessica was never the type to let much get in her way, and a few months out of school she started her own design studio, Pail Design. Ever since, she has been developing brand identities, websites, publications, and modern design solutions for a plethora of extremely happy clients.
Jessica enjoys commuting to work via bike and stays active with running, cycling and her new found love, mountain biking (muddy-style!). She tries to stay balanced (not sun deprived) in Portland by traveling someplace warm, such as Hawaii during the winter months with her daughter.
Current Goals: Cycle Oregon 2011, growing her own vegetables, and raising her 14 year old .
She believes that work isn't work, when you're doing what you love.
